How can flying be a part Counseling? What does soaring to the sky look like for you? Or would you prefer to be more grounded?

As a Flight Attendant transitioning to full-time Clinical Counselor I can relate to wanting adventure, spontaneity, flexibility whilst craving stability, grounding, and permanence. Transitions are scary and searching for concrete answers can be even more daunting at times. The unknown can lead to second guessing ourselves and others in our hemisphere. Stable foundations engage our senses to be truer to our authentic selves and without this we may feel like we are floating in space. Yet pursuing our passions may take some flying around to discover what secures us to the ground.

Encouragement, guidance and perhaps a flight path to connection can be the answer. Let’s soar, let’s inspire one another to engage in exploration.
